PETRARCA 5
The project finances free languages courses (Italian for foreigners) and other short courses to support migrantsin their social, cultural and economic integration. All above mentioned activities are dedicated to extra-communitarian immigrants with regular residency permit only.
This projects, coordinated by the Piedmont Region and financed through the ESF, also supports and trains all people and operators involved in Petrarca (specific training activities).

Methodology
Within Petrarca 5 project there are different kind corse/modules:
Language:
· pre-A1 (50-60 hours)
· A1 (50 hours)
· A2 (40 hours)
· B1 (40 hours)
Social integration modules:
cooking
civic integration
active citizenship
This courses take place in:
- Training Centres
- CPIA – adult education training centres
A babysitting service is provided in order to help mothers to attend the courses.

Brief description of the product / outcome / method
All courses are organized in small groups (8 to 12 students). All the material used is free of charge and students are provided with: books – handbooks, exercise-books, pens and, if required, specific uniform (cooking courses)…
At the end of each course/module, students must undergo a final examination in order to get their attendance certificate.
Impact on target groups / Transferability potential
This activities are useful in order to increase migrant chances to integration, mobility and employability and to access to European values in general.
